Hi there

I need to create a form that sends to an email with an auto responder. So the user gets the response to the inquiry from automatically.

The only way I can think of doing this is to populate the from email field in the email template with the users email that they enter into the form.

The variable code used to send the variable to the database and add it to the email is {email} in this case.

I tried adding {email} to the from field in the email template but it doesn't work, does anyone know of another method or a way of getting this to work?

can anyone give me any ideas on how to do this?

I just wanted to be able to hit reply and the email goes the the person who filled it out.

i tried it this way, and it works for me...
no problems hitting reply and get the right address.
