Hi,

This error appears because the compilation process was enabled. Please disable compilation process:

open file includes/config.php
find the last 2 lines, each lines should have # at the beginning:
#define('COMPILER_INCLUDE_PATH', dirname(__FILE__).DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'src');

#define('COMPILER_COLLECT_PATH', dirname(__FILE__).DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'stat');

Please update IToris Installer and then click “Run Compilation Process”. It will solve the problem.

@IToris team: the specified lines which you've told to me are commented (# in front of them), in config.php. Any other suggestions?
Since I've installed IToris Installer and Tabs slider my Magneto web site went down after a while... send me a pm for further details

Thanks!

I am getting the same error message when trying to log into the backend of my website. I have done the above suggestion of adding the # infront of the two lines in the config file but still not working. Can you please help?

Hi proexquisite9,

1) Remove file \app\etc\modules\Itoris_Installer.xml
2) Flush cache by removing folder /var/cache.
You will be able to log in to backend.

3) Then disable compilation in System -> Tools -> Compilation. FYI -Before installing new or updating existing extensions you should always disable compilation. You may recompile classes again if needed after the extension has been installed.
4) Unpack the Installer to the root of your Magento by FTP.
5) Flush cache in System -> Cache Management
New menu System -> IToris Extensions should appear in backend.

6) Click "Run Compilation" to create a new snapshot of classes. Do not just click "Enable", always click "Run Compilation".

Skip #3 and #6 if you do not use compilation.

If you still experience issues please email directly on support@itoris.com

Best regards,
